Requirements
Must be 18 or older
Must live within fire service area
Good physical condition
Must have a clean background and driving record
Attend regular training meetings on the 2nd & 4th Mondays of each month at 7pm and some Saturdays
Respond to a minimal of 15% of all calls every quarter upon recruitment
Must have the ablity to work with others and a willingness to learn
Ablity to work in a "strict chain of command structure"
Process for membership
Attend three consecutive meetings
2nd meeting attend oral review board
3rd meeting the department membership votes for probationary status
If selected you will be placed on 90 days probation and then a re-evaluation for rookie status after the 90 days
